Wittchow-Aschoff Family Foundation

In 2008 Ingeborg Wittchow (Bad Harzburg)set up a foundation to benefit the Herzog August Bibliothek with the puropse of helping the library to acquire, restore and preserve rare books and maps. Over the past years the foundation has purchased several 17th-century imprints as valuable additions to the holdings.

The current Board: Dr. Gillian Bepler (Wolfenbüttel); Manfred Flotho (Wolfenbüttel); Stefan Riecher (Braunschweig);  Prof. Dr. Helwig Schmidt-Glintzer (Wolfenbüttel).
