The Feierabendhaus
The Feierabendhaus was built in 1895 by Anna Vorwerk, the
head of the girls' school in the Wolfenbüttel castle,
as a home for retired lady teachers. The Feierabend Foundation
rents apartments to the Library Friends Group, which subsidizes
and maintains guest accommodation for library fellows and
guest researchers. The house is old fashioned, but is located
in the immediate vicinity of the library and is very quiet.
