General information

Our old holdings are listed in the online public access catalogue (OPAC).

The printed works can also be found in the databases of the German National Bibliography VD 16 and VD 17.

The HAB’s Hebraica (15th–19th century) are also listed in the Hebraica and Judaica specialist databases.

Old maps are being successively listed in the IKAR database.

A large number of the funeral sermons have been catalogued in depth in a specialised database.
These funeral sermons are also listed in the Complete catalogue of funeral sermons.

The contemporary printings of Luther’s works (1513–1546) are listed in the Catalogue of Wolfenbüttel Luther printings.

The database of the Virtuelles Kupferstichkabinett (Virtual Print Room) contains 15th- to 19th-century prints from the collections of the Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum Braunschweig and the Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel.

The HAB’s essay documentation contains non-independent research publications on the early modern period.
