Its purpose is to supply specialist literature and research-relevant information to cover the needs of scholars. The project is part of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation, DFG) funding programme \u2018Fachinformationsdienste f\u00fcr die Wissenschaft\u2019 (Specialist Information Services for Academia).<\/p><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/katalog.fid-bbi.de\/\">FID BBI portal<\/a> is used to list literature and resources in the fields of book, library and information science and also provides additional services. The portal was built using state-of-the-art retrieval technologies.
