The Mobility of People, Ideas and Objects between the German-Speaking Lands and the World beyond Europe

The 10th International Conference of Frühe Neuzeit Interdisziplinär (FNI)

The 10th International Conference of FNI takes as its theme "The Mobility of People, Ideas, and Objects between the German-Speaking Lands and the World Beyond Europe." By doing so, it contributes to re-evaluating the German-speaking lands’ share in the early modern entanglement of Europe with African, American, and Asian regions, polities, and cultures.

The conference will be an on-site event held at the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel. There will be no conference fee. Graduate students can apply for travel support from the American Friends of the HAB via ude.a1760189936nozir1760189936a@rem1760189936mulpe1760189936m1760189936.
