Concetta Pennuto develops research on women’s health in Early Modern Medicine. Actually, she studies the Padua medical cases of the 16^th century conserved in Wolfenbüttel manuscripts. In continuity with a previous Fellowship in Oxford University, her staying in Wolfenbüttel will allows her to achieve a book on Giovanni Battista Da Monte’s gynaecological consultations, collegia and medical visits, which includes an anthology of cases with a critical edition of the Latin texts (printed and manuscripts), and translation. This research is the occasion to highlight the hospital and university every-day life of physicians and students of the 16^th century Padua, entering the narrative of their histories, gestures and words, as well as the ones of their female patients.
