Anton Ulrich’s considerable estate is held by the HAB and the Niedersächsisches Staatsarchiv (Lower Saxony State Archives) in Wolfenbüttel. The edition is an exemplary means of visualising the hitherto unknown working methods of this baroque novelist and the steps involved in the production of literary works during this era.
