Working groups
The Herzog August Bibliothek hosts three working groups through which it networks in the fields of humanities and cultural history research and, in particular, with universities. The study groups and their chairs consider themselves interdisciplinary institutions, and their activities, such as their regular conferences, reflect this orientation. The working groups are thematically oriented towards the library's holdings and research priorities and deal with book and media history issues across epochs.
