Catalogue of 17th-century printed works published in German-speaking areas (VD 17)

The Union Catalogue of Books Printed in German-Speaking Countries in the 17th Century (VD 17) is a retrospective national bibliography for the period 1601 to 1700.

VD 17 lists all works printed and published in German-speaking areas, irrespective of language, as well as German-language works published elsewhere. VD 17 is supported by the Herzog August Bibliothek, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Berlin State Library – Prussian Cultural Heritage) and the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Bavarian State Library) in Munich.
