Media representatives receive news and information about our research and cultural programme, as well as on matters concerning the library. The press team facilitates reporting by supplying its own pictures and issuing permits for film and photography.

Press images

We supply visual materials without a fee for current affairs and news reports related to the HAB. Any images that are used must be attributed as follows: ‘Photo: Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel’. Please send us a courtesy copy, a PDF or a link as proof.

Permission to film and take photographs

Should you wish to make recordings in the HAB that are not strictly for private use, you will require a filming or photography permit. Please get in touch with us about this by e-mail.
